Filter/LNA assemblies provide receive signal gain while reducing transmitter interference and minimizing noise figure. Building the filter and low noise amplifier within a common housing eliminates several cables and connectors which reduces size and cost and increases reliability. By eliminating the cables and connectors and tuning the unit as an assembly, the system is better matched and the noise figure is reduced. Freedom Microwave can also integrate directional couplers and VSWR monitors within a filter/LNA assembly.
